Only edition, broadside, folio, 550:684 mm, wide margins, light age staining, creased on folds.

Wall calendars are scarce as they were hung on synagogue walls and disposed of after usage.

 

Detail Description

Synagogue wall calendar for the Hebrew year 5678 (1917-1918) by Moritz Poppelauer (Moses 1824-1888) the Berlin bookseller, antiquarian and publisher of Hebrew and Judaic literature. The calendar contains all pertinent dates and times for Jewish religious observance, new month schedules, the Hebrew and secular holidays, synagogue customs in Judeo-German.
