First (of two) volumes, quarto, 212:150 mm., wide margins, light age and damp staining,. A good copy bound in contemporary boards, rubbed.

 

Detail Description

Part one of the Bible with points, Pentateuch and Former Prophets. The Hebrew printing press at Pisa was established toward the end of the 18th century by Samuel Foa, a member of the famous printing family of Sabbioneta, and was succeeded by Samuel and Joseph Moliho.

הטקסט של המקרא בהדפסה זהה לזה שבשתי הוצאות מקבילות שנדפסו באותה שנה (אחת עם פירושי המילות בספרדית ואחת עם פירושי המילות באיטאלקית), אך העימוד שונה. כמו כן יש שינויים קלים בהוספות השונות שנספחו לספר, בעיקר שינויים במיקום ההוספות. "שפר
הדקדוק" לא נדפס כאן.
