Detail Description

Only edition of this multi-part work comprised of several varied subjects edited by R. Joseph Ha-Cohen Schwartz. The title-page describes the contents in detail; Shelosheh Seforim Nitahim being comprised of being comprised of Sha’arei Naphtali, a comprehensive commentary on the Abudraham by R. Naphtali ha-Cohen Schwartz; Haluka de-Rabbanim, novella by R. Ze’ev Wolf ha-Levi Boskowitz; and Kuntres Ya’ana be-Kol, collected kuntress on tephilla, wether one can pray loudly in a synagogue. There are several pages with numerous approbations, an introduction from R. Joseph Ha-Cohen Schwartz, and the text. Sha’arei Naphtali is comprised of the text of the Abudraham in square rabbinic letters and below, in rabbinic letters a very detailed commentary, beginning with Kriat Shema al ha-mitah, addressing varied subjects, Hanukah an and Purim, and concluding with netillat zipporim in square letters. Haluka de-Rabbanim is also in two parts, the text above and the detailed commentary below, both in rabbinic letters. Kuntres Ya’ana be-Kol follows the same format. This is the only edition of Shelosheh Seforim Nitahim. A varied, comprehensive scholarly work.

Bonyhad (German: Bonnhard), the place of printing is a town in Tolna County in Southwestern Hungary. Prior to World War II Bonyhad had a sizable Jewish population.
