Only edition of these discourses on midrashim on the Torah, five megillot, and festivals by R. Israel ben Mordecai Schvarzantz dayyan in Mezritsh. The title-page informs that in addition to the discourses mentioned Schvarzantz also includes discourses on Pesah, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hanukkah, Purim, weddings, milah, pidyon ha-ben, bar mitzvah, eulogies, and other subjects. There are approbations from R. Aaron ben Moses of Berlin and R. Simhah ben Zevi Hirsch of Dessau, Followed by R. Israel’s introduction and then the text. The discourses, nor overly lengthy, are eloquent and attractive.
