Detail Description
Bi-lingual Hebrew-English prayers to be recited for victory in the war, by the Chakover Grand Rabbi J. Halberstam. Tfiloh (Prayer) for health begins with instructions for beseeching health according to the kabbalists and a prayer for good health, including when the tfiloh should and should not be said by the Chakover Rabbi. A warm letter from the Chaover follows and then the prayers, Tfiloh is in two parts, a Hebrew section and an English section. The prayers end with the following insight “The greatest ‘s’gullah’ in order to be helped with every manner of goodness, as well as to earn a substantian merit in the world to come, is to sympathize with and aid the suffering and persecuted.”The Chakover Grand Rabbi J. Halberstam was a scion of the Sanz dynasty and he founded the Divrei Hayyim Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
